Jeff and I always love to see our Bayonet bloom. It’s such a beautiful spectacle! It’s another plant that requires virtually no maintenance, so we take absolutely no credit for it’s awesomeness! It provides such beauty and protection. We would not recommend this plant if you have children as it has daggers, hence the name. But it provides great security if planted under windows and the bark can be used to make things like soap. We love plants like this and the pineapple plant as they do not require us to keeping them thriving – only the nutrition and rain that God sends their way!
