Sitting here drinking my morning coffee, staring at a vintage Sunshine Skyway mug on my desk that is filled with pens. For those of you that are not from Florida or that are too young to remember, it’s important for you to know about the old Sunshine Skyway and how many people fell to their deaths from that bridge in 1980. I was only 10 years old but remember the day quite vividly. It haunted me as a little girl. I could not, for a long time, get the images out of my head of all those poor souls that fell to their deaths in the Tampa Bay. Life is short. We never know when we will be cut off from this world. Please don’t be too smart for your own good and don’t hang out with people like this. Go to the source for the truth. Eternity is real. It’s as real as this weird existence that we can only see the tip of. It’s all real.
It’s also horrific to think about the hundreds that have jumped to their deaths from the new bridge. It takes a lot of strength and courage to end your life, but sadly, so many out there think that there’s nothing better around the corner, so they think ending their life is the only way. Many young people have this mindset because they have not been afforded the opportunity of experience, so they simply cannot imagine not feeling pain anymore. The Word of God, Jesus Christ, is there for anyone that is suffering. He can help you overcome this cursed world. He is the OTHER WAY! Truly and Sincerely.
