Of course, my first choice are these humane mouse traps. Put some peanut butter in them, catch one, and then take it far out into the woods somewhere. Please do NOT forget to check the traps because then, at that point, it would no longer be humane, would it???
Humane Mouse Traps
Please know that I do not make money off of these links. These links that I share with you are simply links that are under my Amazon orders, which is why I am using them. If the Humane Mouse Traps are just not cutting it, because you have an infestation, you might want to call in the professionals, but before you do that, please try this next product: RatX Throwpacks. They are designed to only kill the rodent and not, for example, an owl that would want to eat the dying mouse. Lets try not to kill off the entire forest to save our little old house, huh? Note of caution: You must have all edibles out of site and locked away. The rodents should only have access to these ratpacks. Keep your house clean and food put away while using these throw packs.
Rat Poison Safe for Pets and Wildlife such as Owls
This next product is tried and true, for sure! I have used and have been happy with all three of these products. I’d rather not have to kill any living creatures at all, but once mice invade your home and start rapidly multiplying, it’s not a pretty a site and brings germs and diseases into your home. Here’s a great way to keep those mice and rats at bay – using these mint balls. They absolutely hate them! I use them in and around my home in areas that I think the rodents could enter in at and travel. I also put one under my truck’s engine hood – sitting in a specific area that I know it wont fall down into the engine cavity. I keep a note on my steering wheel to remind myself to remove the mint ball before driving off. Rodents will sometimes find warmth inside your car’s or truck’s engine under the hood during the winter months. Of course, you’ll need to replace these mint balls periodically as they will eventually lose their efficacy.
