I am looking forward to putting up the Christmas tree early this year while enjoying the beautiful cool evenings God is giving us. In fact, I think I’ll put it up within the next week or so, God willing! Traditionally, the Christmas tree was a bit of a pagan thing, which many already know, but God knows our hearts, and He knows that me and Jeff, as do others, use it as a symbol of the birth of Jesus Christ. He very well may not have been born on 12/25, but there’s no harm in celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ, God’s Holy Word and Son, on any given day! We like to place ornaments on the tree that denote particular events in the past days of our lives and many of these events occurred when we were dead to Christ, which stand as a constant reminder of what God has given us.
