- Matthew 19:24 “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”
It is also easier for a “camel to go through the eye of a needle,” than it is for me and Jeff to downsize our home, but God willing, we’ll get it done. I’m looking forward to sharing the new home God has drawn us to, but it will have to wait until all closings are wrapped up. And not only are we downsizing, we are still, however, going to bring with us our two large Sulcata tortoises as well as our four dogs and our 2 rabbits and 1 feral cat that I have been feeding for the past 3+ years and have grown close to. It has been a logistical stress bomb trying to plan all this out, but prayer has truly done wonders! Seeing that Jeff and I are not rich in this world, which always helps when it comes to selling, buying, and moving, it’s truly a blessing to be rich in Jesus Christ. What strength He has given us!
I remember being young and just getting up and going whenever I got the urge – job, so what. family, so what. no money, so what. car overheating, so what. I’ve lived in this same home for the past 20 years now, which is record breaking for me! I will miss this home and will always have so many fond memories of this place, but I am so looking forward to this new adventure! Praise God in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
